Classic Cooking with A Touch of Jazz.
As one of the newest catering companies in Sampson (Clinton) County; Jazzy's Professional Catering (formerly Ashley Professional Chef Services) has been devoted to hospitality in Sampson County. In 2019, Chef/Owner launched his flagship catering company Clinton, NC. Unfortunately, during the later part of the year going into 2020, Covid-19 hit the world with a solid blow, and at that time the catering company was at a standstill for years. As time went on, he did not stop working on his craft. After a lengthy absence, in January 2025, there was a name change that is where the name Jazzy’s Professional Catering was launched. It is also in the memory of my late great mother Joyce “Jazzy” Ashley.

Chef Michael Ashley
Chef/Owner Michael G. Ashley is an executive chef thru the American Culinary Federation (ACF). I graduated from Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Academy in Pittsburg, PA in 2002. I have worked for organizations like Pittsburgh Steelers (4 yrs) and Pittsburgh Pirates (4 yrs). I got 8 years of culinary training through Marriotts Hotels. There I became the executive sous chef and after my chef retired. I was tested and then promoted to executive chef through (ACF) American Culinary Federation. After the promotion my culinary career took off. I am thankful and very blessed to have a successful culinary career. I have been with my wife for 15 years and we have been married for 9 beautiful years. Together we have 4 adult kids and 1 grandson.
